The European Direct Information Centre within the Institute for European Studies organised a week-long exhibition to mark the 25th Anniversary of the EU’s Single Market. The single market has become an integral part of EU life, guaranteeing the free movement of people, goods, services and capital across the 28 EU member states and is considered one of the EU’s greatest achievements. The exhibition was held in the foyer of the University’s Valletta campus and ran from 8-12 April. The exhibition was coordinated by Dr Mark Harwood and Mr Stefan Galea, who is currently on a placement with the Institute. The European Commission’s Head of Representation, Dr Elena Grech, visited the exhibition on Monday 8th for the launch.
